These boots were made for walking...

VIDEO: ...but will they last the pace ? - that is the question. If I have anything to do with it, they will. By and large they have served me well and after being though so much together I think they deserve to see the journey through. With help from some friends along the way and a little bit of Irish ingenuity I've patched them up and so far so good. Not sure if La Sportiva's normal warranty would cover 2,500km in 12 weeks - but perhaps they might be interested in this bit of innovation either way. They know where I am if they want to talk money !
